OZ ASANDER: MUTANT BEAST

Studies for mine and Mary McLaughlin's mock-project "Oz Asunder". The final design, pixel rendition, and character study for enemies that would be present in the Lion's realm. The inspiration for this monster came from the idea that the Lion (Lioness in this case) in this universe lost control of her Queendom and the beasts in it because of a terrible curse that created more fearsome and terrible creatures than herself, leaving the ruler of the jungle powerless. These creatures would function as "trash mobs" or random encounters for the player.
